Week one of Design V: September 2011

Concept Idea 18

I wanted to show hierarchy. From the plan view, you can see the stepping from high to low.

Concept Idea 17

Water flows in and water flows out.

The concept was the wave. How the water goes from high to low. Furthermore, how the wave breaks in and out.

Concept Idea 16

I really like this idea and seeing the structure of what is making it stand up. The invert picture shows the structure flow and structure better. The concept was solid.

The concept was wind, but I did not know how to really show that side view on both side. The left side on the picture was what I wanted on all four corners, but I do not know how to do with it yet.
Furthermore, I am experimenting using a different material.

Concept Idea 14

I want to create spaces using geometry. The concept is geometry.

Stone hinge like concept.. Mir-co to macro.

This was vision I wanted. There are not lot of structures / buildings that people approach it down. So, this concept I really want to develop.

Concept Idea 12

The concept was light. The holes on the wall and I drew out where light would have connected with the walls.

concept is layers. Also, solid and void. The front is the void and the back end is a solid wall. The roof is the layer that connects them two together.

Concept Idea 10

I wanted to create a dark environment. More or less, I wanted the concept to be dark and the unsafe open feeling.

The concept is religion. I did not want to copy a cross. So, I did not finish the other side. That allowed to create a more organic side that could possibly be the south side.

Concept Idea 8

The concept was mystery. As you can see from this view you can see that there is going to be something on the other side.

Furthermore, the scale of the walls that was put up shows that the smaller wall on the left could possibly create a mystery because waiting to make that left turn can be an experience.

Concept Idea 7

The concept was flow. From the roof and to the star the flow is a one way.

Furthermore, there is one entrance in and one out.

Shows the possible light that could happen.

Concept Idea 6

I got this idea from looking at Ben. All of his models appeared to solid with no holes what so ever. So, I have a concept of bridging two ideas together.
