fighting for a space...

I want a atrium space in my design that exposes the structure. In particular, the tensile roof and it's connection. That was the main purpose of that roof style. The images below are a few examples that shows the structure. The images below strongly suggests different focal points that is created. I want to create a place for people to lie down, relax, and look at the ceiling. Some how I need to justify why I want to do this more.
